• UNABLE TO INSERT/UPDATE A REMOTE BYTE/TEXT COLUMN FROM A DRDA
  CONNECTION
  
  
  While trying to do a remote insert or update of a byte column
  from a connection created using a DRDA alias (DSC/JCC) the
  connection between the client and the server gets broken.
  
  An example error from a JCC client might look something like
  this .
  
  Failed to perform setAsciiStream: com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.io:
  [jcc][t4][2030][11211][4.7.85] A communication error occurred
  during operations on the connection's underlying socket, socket
  input stream,or socket output stream.
  
  Error location: Reply.fill().  Message: Insufficient data.
  ERRORCODE=-4499, SQLSTATE=08001
