IC67104: ONSTAT -G STK DOES NOT ACCEPT NEGATIVE THREAD ID NUMBERS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In IDS environments, that are very busy or have a high uptime
  the thread ID can become negative as it overflows because
  its a signed integer data type. If for any reason an af file has
  to be written or a user explicitly requests a stack trace of
  such
  a thread, onstat -g stk reports a usage error.
  
  Example:
  /usr/informix/bin/onstat -g stk -2118938862 light
  
  usage: onstat [ -abcdfghklmpstuxzBCDFRX ] [ -i ] [ -r
  [<seconds>] ]
                [ -o [<outfile>] ] [ <infile> ]
      -a    Print all info
      -b    Print buffers
      -c    Print configuration file
      -d [update]
  ...

Problem conclusion

• Problem first fixed in 11.50.xC7.  onstat -g stk now accepts
  negative thread ids also.
