IC66379: INSTALLATION OF TIVOLI STORAGE MANAGER 6.1.3 MONITORING AGENT FAIL DUE WRONG LICENSE TOOL FILE

Error description

• Manual  installation of Tivoli Storage Manager Agent 6.1.3 fails
  due a wrong license tool file. Installation end with error:
  
  If the customer runs the Tivoli Storage Manager Agent installer
  manually
  (<media_dir>/COI/DeploymentSteps/TSM_Agent/FILES/install.sh)
  not using the standard  installer provide with the reporting and
  monitoring package (<media_dir>/install.bin) then the user will
  experience the license error failures (see below).  If the
  customer runs the installer  that is part of the reporting and
  monitoring package (<media_dir>/install.bin) and installs the
  Tivoli Storage Manager Agent, then the install will complete
  successfully.  The reason is that this installer  will install
  each component in silent mode, thus avoids this defect.

Local fix

• Run the installer that is part of the reporting and monitoring
  package <media_dir>/install.bin
  
  If the customer for whatever reason needs to run the TSM Agent
  installer manually, then they can do the following steps:
  
  1.  cd
  <media_dir>/COI/PackageSteps/ITM_6.2/FILES/unix/LAP/LAP_HOME
  2.cp lapapp.jar
  <media_dir>/COI/PackageSteps/TSM_Agent/FILES/unix/LAP/LAP_HOME
  
  Where media_dir = the directory you extracted the reporting and
  monitoring package

• This problem was fixed by downgrading the license tool being
