  • An assertion failure occurred trying to upgrade to a newer
version of Informix Dynamic Server (IDS) with a database using
codeset UTF8.

* Upgrade to IDS version 11.50.xC7 to view correct             *
* information.                                                 *

Problem conclusion


    

  • The setting of GL_USEGLU environment setting must match between
the source and target server during migration. Information on
this was added to two 11.50xC7 topics: "Preparing for
migration" and "Setting Environment Variables."
