IC66002: QUERY SAN ON SOLARIS CAN CAUSE A MEMORY OVERLAY AND SERVER CRASH

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In Solaris a buffer overlay can occur on a string copy in the
  Query SAN function. The source length parameter (256) should be
  the same length of the target buffer (64),
  Customer/L2 Diagnostics (if applicable)
  From an  NA NAHBAAPI trace:
  entry 0 the device name lengths is greater than 64 characters.
  It is about 80 characters

  The sgen device driver was loaded into the kernel causing the
  device names to be longer than expected

• Unload the sgen device driver
