IC65427: HOD V11 TRADITIONAL TYPE HISTORY SCREEN BECOMES BLANK IF ANY KEY HIT WITH DBCS SESSION

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If the history screen type is set to Traditional, the poped up
    history screen becomes blank.
    This problem can be seen in case of DBCS session like HCP
    930,939 or1399.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Enable "View -> Advanced -> Screen History"
    from menu to display
       history screens at the bottom of the display
    session. Double
       click on the history screens. Then the
    history screen will be
       pop-up as individuals. At the individual
    pop-up history screen,
       press any key from the keyboard. Texts in
    the pop-up traditional
    

Problem conclusion

  • The key events should be returned directly
    if them come from the
       pop-up history screen. Because HOD do
    nothing in pop-up history
       screen when key pressed from keyboard.
