Error description

• The Tivoli Storage Manager server might crash when backing up
  device configuration information if the length of a device class
  definition exceeds the maximum length allowed for Tivoli Storage
  Manger administrative commands (1500 bytes).  This can happen,
  for example, when a device class is defined using abbreviations
  for some or all of the parameter names and the parameter names
  are then expanded to their full length by the BACKUP DEVCONFIG
  command.
