  • The History Screen function display DBCS characters twice in the
popuped History Screen text area if the type is set to Simple.

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • When user set the history screen type to
simple(text) in preferences of session
properties, the DBCS characters in history
screen will be duplicated.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • getstring() method was called when
construction the simple history screen. It returned string
that contained duplicated DBCS characters.
