Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: Users with printer sessions where "Show *
    * dialog before every print" is enabled. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The user has the option "File->Printer *
    * Setup -> Show this dialog before every *
    * print" enabled but the printer setup *
    * window remains in the background *
    * rather than popping up to the *
    *                      foreground as expected.                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The focus was not transferred to the "printer setup" dialog
    properly so sometimes the window remains in the background.

Problem conclusion

  • PCSPD.DLL has been changed to give focus to the "printer setup"
    dialog so it will come to the foreground.

    Fix available in PCOM 5.9.6.0 Refresh pack.
