APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The status of a library may show as critical in the
  Administration Center.  A review of the library using Tivoli
  Storage Manager server command line commands returns that the
  library is in a good state.  This only occurs for translated
  servers.

Problem conclusion

• After you apply the fix, the library status will be calculated
  as follows:
   - If you are using a 6.1 Administration Center connected to a
  5.4 or 5.5 server running in the English language -- Polling
  and unavailable drives are considered to be "online". The fix
  will revert library status calculation to behave like it did
  with a 5.5 Administration Center.
   - If you are using a 6.1 Administration Center connected to a
  5.4 or 5.5 server running in a non-english language -- All
  drives are considered to be "online". The fix will make it so
  that the library status is no longer incorrectly reported as
  critical.
   - If you are using a 6.1 Administration Center connected to a
  6.1 server, for all languages -- Polling and unavailable
  drives are considered to be "offline". For this scenario, you
  must apply the fixing level to both the Administration Center
  and the server. Otherwise the library status field cannot be
  relied upon.
