Error description

  • The TSM server may attempt to open the corresponding /dev/sgX
device when it fails to open an IBM tape device (/dev/IBMtapeX).

When SAN discovery is unable to find a path for the drive that
fails to open, it may find the corresponding /dev/sgX and try
to use is instead of the IBM lin_tape devices. In this case,
SAN discovery should ignore the /dev/sgX possible paths.
