IC62505: WHEN A PREPARED SELECT FIRST STATEMENT IS RUN WITH PDQ ENABLED IT PRODUCES INCORRECT RESULTS EVERY OTHER TIME

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a prepared select first query is run with PDQ enabled it
  will produce the correct results on the first run, then 0
  results
  on the second, the correct results on the third run, 0 results
  on the fourth, and so on.  This only occurs when the query
  is prepared and run multiple times using IDS 11.50.FC4 .  When
  PDQ is disabled, the results are correct every time.
  The problem can be reproduced using a Windows Java client
  application against a single table with indexes.
  

Local fix

• Run the query with PDQ turned off.
