Error description

• Change Data Capture (CDC) can lead to an Assertion Failure
  depending on the schema of a table and the columns that are
  under monitoring of CDC.
  
  For example the table
  
  create table tab1 (
      c1 char(1),
      i2 int
  );
  
  will lead to an Assertion Failure when only changes on the
  second column are monitored with CDC.
  

Local fix

• When all columns are monitored with CDC the situation can be
  prevented, so this might offer a workaround.
