APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After creating more than 32 TSM server instances on a single
  windows machine,
  the instances services fails to start.
  No error reported in windows event logs.
  
  From a dos session a NET START "TSM server1" show
  
      A system error has occurred.
     System error 1067 has occurred.
     The process terminated unexpectedly.
  
  
  There is a limitation in TSM code
  #define DSMSVC_MAX_INSTANCES          32
  When any of TSM server service is initialized, this value will
  be referred as the array size for reading instances
   values from register table.
  But the judgement statement of the loop has a little bug, which
  will try to write the 33th data into this array.
  Then service abort.
  
  
  Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
  
  The instances start correctly when started in the foreground,
  and they also start correctly as a service
  when started from the TSM MMC . But the MMC only allow to manage
  4 server instances .

  TSM Windows server 5.4  , 5.5 , 6.1
