Error description

  • If a user-defined Lotus Notes address book is specified in the
    configuration settings of the Email Connector, the IBM Content
    Collector Email Connector throws an exception. The exception is
    reported in the log file. The address book is not used and no
    email is collected for archiving.

Problem summary

  • In IBM Content Collector 3.0, user-defined Lotus Notes address
    books are not handled correctly. If the Email Connector is
    configured to use a user-defined address book, it logs an
    exception. The address book is not used and no email is
    collected for archiving.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Starting with IBM Content Collector 3.0 Fix Pack 5 and IBM
    Content Collector 4.0 Fix Pack 2, user-defined address books
    that are specified for the Email Connector are used as expected.
