APAR status

Error description

  • When an IBM eDiscovery Manager setup task fails, it leaves the
    folder locked even after eDiscovery Manager is restarted. This
    issue causes subsequent scheduled searches to fail and needs to
    be manually unlocked from FileNet Enterprise Manager to work
    again.
    

Local fix

  • Manually set the eDiscovery Manager folder state to 1 from
    FileNet Enterprise Manager.
    

Problem summary

  • The scheduled tasks hang in setup state when P8CE recycled.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed recovery part of the work manager for schedule searches.
