APAR status

Error description

  • When a task fails in the setup phase and is canceled, there is
    no indication in the UI that the task is in a canceled phase.
    Many of the icons next to the task (such as Restart and Resume)
    appear to be available but will not work because the task is in
    a canceled phase. The only task that is valid when the task is
    in a canceled setup phase is Delete.

Problem summary

  • The search task schedulers fails in setup stage when the P8
    server is temporarily unavailable.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed the task scheduler code.
