Tape Duplication Running Long
Resolving The Problem
With the size of tape media constantly increasing , the amount of data that can be saved increases. This can result in a large number of sequence numbers. When running a tape duplication using DUPTAP, DUPMEDBRM or automatic duplication of media within BRMS to duplicate specific sequences, the duplication may take an extended period of time and TAPW delays may be observed while media is locating the specified sequence numbers
