z/OSMF V2R1 Software Management was modified to

    - offer the data set search capability when adding Non-SMP/E
managed data sets to a software instance.

    - support modifying multiple target mount point directories at
one time while configuring a deployment.

    - add a separate view for SMP/E managed UNIX file system data
sets and associated UNIX directories for the View Data Sets
      action on a software instance.

  • ------------- ENHANCEMENTS -------------
The z/OSMF Software Management task has been enhanced to
    support the following functions.

1.To add non-SMP/E managed data sets to a software instance,
z/OSMF will support searching for data sets using a data
set name pattern and/or a volume. One or more data sets
that match the search criteria may be selected and added
    to the software instance definition.

2.The View Data Sets action for a software instance displays
all of the data sets that compose the selected software
instance. z/OSMF will now provide a separate tab to display
the UNIX file system data sets that are managed by SMP/E,
and the directories contained within those data sets.

    3. While configuring a deployment operation of a software
instance, the user can modify the mount point directories
for the UNIX file system data sets in the target software
instance, one at a time. z/OSMF will now allow the user to
modify multiple mount point directories at once, providing
a quick method to make a common change for all selected
    mount point directories.
