APAR status

Error description

• The Redirect directive doesn't have any effect on requests
  that are bound for the MVSDS module.  Additionally, there is
  unexpected behavior when performing a redirect using
  mod_rewrite for requests that are heading to MVSDS.

  On some systems, configuring mod_mvsds for a location
  prevented directives such as Alias and Redirect from taking
  effect.
  

Problem conclusion

• mod_mvsds behavior was updated to prevent adversely affecting
  other directives.
  
  This fix is targeted for IBM HTTP Server fix packs:
  - 8.5.5.12
  - 9.0.0.4
