PI59232: S878 ABEND WITH COBOL PROGRAM EXECUTING SORT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Running out of storage below the line with many large blocks of
  storage being allocated but not freed. Data within the storage
  blocks contain SORT control card information.
