  The COBOL runtime library routine is inefficient when processing
  the 'from' or source string in the CONVERTING phrase. The impact
  is more significant if the CONVERTING 'from' string is long.
  

Problem conclusion

• The performance issue in the INSPECT ... CONVERTING routine has
  been corrected.
