Error description

  • Preprocessing source code using PPONLY or -P that uses #pragma
runopts(..) containing z/OS memory size values is encountering
an error message:

    #pragma runopts(stack(64k,64k,anywhere))

    CCN5830 (S) The suffix of the integer literal "64k"
    is not valid.

As per APAR PQ58558, these values should be accepted to match
the behaviour from previous versions of the compiler.

Local fix

  • None.

Though the compiler still outputs the preprocessed
source code.
