  • When secondary node's interface is detached, only the primary
exists.  The secondary DB does not come back up.

  • When secondary node's interface is detached, only the primary
exists.  The secondary DB does not come back up.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Immediately unelect the existing secondary if it has lost
network connections.  Avoid electing any other secondary that
has lost network connections.
Note that the switching between nodes will still require
some time, so the secondaryDB will not come back onto a
different node immediately.
