APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The certmgr command will return to the command prompt
without running the Key Manager if the system only has
Java5 installed.  The command does not return an error
or warning message.  If the command is run with the "-d"
debug flag, it will provide a Java mismatch error.
There is no documentation indicating that Java142 is
specifically is required.  The certmgr code checks for
Java14 versions, but it does not check for Java5.
