Error description

  • During alt_disk_mksysb restore, customer receives the
following
error message:
0505-121 alt_disk_install: Error.

Local fix

  • Before creating the mksysb file, create CuDv.sav file
using
the odmget command:  odmget CuDv >/tmp/CuDv.sav

Problem summary

  • CuDv file is being saved to a wrong location by RDA.

Problem conclusion

  • Save CuDv file to correct location.
