  • When an NIS user runs the setgroups command, it fails
with
the following error:

3004-627 Could not get user id.
3004-703 Check "/etc/passwd" file.

  • NIS users will get an error when attempting to run the
/usr/bin/setgroups command.

  • The privilege PV_NET_PORT will be set on the
/usr/bin/setgroups command in the packaging scripts.
