APAR status

Error description

  • If SCIOLSTART (login) to already started Fibre Channel
target works, but Inquiry fails, then SCIOLSTOP (logout)
will not be issued during cleanup.  Since, the Inquiry
failed you will be unable to communicate with the target.
This issue is essentially masked by the real issue, which
the target is allowing logins, but failing Inquiry. This could
cause the target to be unsable until reboot, if the target
does start responding to Inquiry.
