Error description

  • fuser -fx may give incorrect PIDs when mmaped files are
    opened.

    If the system has mmap()'ed file in open state,
    fuser -fx for a non-mmap()'ed files incorrectly lists
    process IDs of all process which have mmap()'ed file
    in open state.

    # cd /tmp/
    # ls > aaaa
    # ls > bbbb
    # ./mmap_file -s /tmp/bbbb (a program which does mmap()).
    mmap_file#5570612: /tmp/bbbb
    mmap_file#5570612: mmapp = 0x30000000-0x30000004

    # fuser -fx /tmp/bbbb
    /tmp/bbbb:  5570612m   << This is okay.

    # fuser -fx /tmp/aaaa
    /tmp/aaaa: 5570612m << It should NOT display this pid.
