Error description

  • If AIX has multiple dump logical volumes, (lv) where
subsequent lv name is a subset of previous lvname ie:
hd7, and hd7x  ..or.. lg_dumplv, and lg_dumplv2
then the /usr/lib/ras/dumpcheck command will abnormally
terminate with the error:
"/usr/lib/ras/dumpcheck[7]: 1310720: unknown test
operator
/usr/lib/ras/dumpcheck[11]: dumpdd_size =
^J1310720^J1310720 * 512 / 1024: syntax error
"
