Error description

  • The mbverify function of multibos -V option during boot clears
    out defunct stanzas in /etc/filesystems. For filesystems on
    varied off volume groups the volume groups are varied on and
    their filesystems checked against /etc/filesystems. If a system
    is part of High Availability setup and contains concurrent
    volume groups the act of varying on and off may affect the
    HA UP status.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

  • This change checks for concurrent volume groups on a system and
    if found will not setup the mbverify multibos -V call in
    /etc/inittab.
