Error description
geninstall fails to install the ISMP package when the setup file is called aix.setup. The error we get 0503-113 geninstall: There is no setup file for the ISMP Product
Local fix
Run the setup script manually instead of using smit or geninstall
Problem summary
Customers are not able to install certain ISMP packages (such as TPC) because geninstall does not currently support setup files named 'setup.sh'. Documenation will also change stating geninstall supports setup.sh install files.
Problem conclusion
Support added to geninstall so that uses files named setup.sh when it cannot find conventional files named install*, setupaix* or setup.jar.
