Error description
While importing new VG defination after changing the underlying logical volume its giving error msg like following: $importvg -L <VG name> <PV name> 0516-306 getlvodm: Unable to find <old LV name> in the Device Configuration Database. 0516-350 synclvodm: The genminor function failed. 0516-522 synclvodm: Unable to update logical volume <VG name> On second try it works fine.
Local fix
Running 'importvg -L' command 2nd time.
Problem summary

Problem conclusion
Correction made in following two functions: synclvodm.c:is_lvid_in_odm() and importvg.sh:validate_L_option().
