APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • For disks with name of 15 characters length the iostat
command does not print the full name, truncates it to 14
characters.

Local fix

  • Use iostat -a, but will print additional adapter
information

Problem summary

  • Unable to display full disk name of 15 character length

Problem conclusion

  • Made appropriate code changes to print diskname of length upto
15 characters using iostat command.
