Error description

  • Snapshot inode fails recall on background delete

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Snapshot inode fails recall on background delete.
In the presence of snapshots when deleting migrated
files the recall failed with ENOENT from dm_get_regions()
api. That api failed since getInode() returned ENOENT
error.

On AIX invis write failed with ENOENT since openNFS()
returned ENOENT if the link count of the file being
written was zero.

Problem conclusion

  • Changed SFSDMGetRegions to call getInode with
GIO_TO_BE_DELETED_OK flag. Changed openNFS to check
for invis write before returning ENOENT.
