Problem conclusion
Fix is to change code using ${BUF} such as: BUF=$($REMOTE_COMMAND ${swinvcommand}) || $ERROR echo "${BUF}" > ${SWINV} to: $REMOTE_COMMAND ${swinvcommand} > ${SWINV} || $ERROR
