IV46295: SOURCE IPADDRESS IN THE UDP HEADER IS LOST IN UDP_INPUT0() APPLIES TO AIX 7100-02 14/02/20 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In udp_input0 function, m_data pointer moved by updip
  header length prior to m_copy is done, so we loose header
  information in copy mbuf.
  
  In udp_receive function, ip header copies from mbuf's
  m_data
  pointer, However, header information is already lost
  before
  making copy of it, Hence we are getting source ip address
  as
  zero.
