Error description
When a lot of new files are created in the same directory very rapidly, the attributes on the directory are invalidated very often. This causes the AIX NFS client to take the hit of having to purge the DNLC cache frequently. Severe lock contention causes the calling application to slow down.
Local fix
Distribute the files between multiple directories instead of creating them all in the same directory. Do not create files as fast.
Problem summary
NFS client slows down while repeatedly & reapidly creating files within the same directory.
Problem conclusion
If a DNLC purge is in progress already, wait for that to complete, and then return instead of purging again.
