Error description

  • viosecure or aixpert command will fail when applying
xxx_usrck rules when "usrck -y ALL" return a return code
different from 0 even when usrck -y ALL fixed the
failures
correctly.
That behavior will occur only if APAR IV33542 is already
installed.

* bos.aixpert.cmds fileset at the 6.1.8.18 level.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
* viosecure or aixpert command will fail when applying xxx_usrck
* rules if there are any user problems on the system.
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:
* Install APAR IV43146.
****************************************************************

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The aixpert and viosecure script validate_check will be
modified to correctly check for errors only after the user
definitions in the user database files have been corrected.
