Error description
When the libHBAAPI.a api function of: HBA_GetAdapterPortAttributes This api give the field of: NumberofDiscoveredPorts back as 0 when you expect a value of 1 or more for the devices attached.
Local fix
Problem summary
When the HBA_GetAdapterPortAttributes() function of the HBA API implemented in libHBAAPI.a is used, it may return the value of NumberofDiscoveredPorts as 0 even though there are devices attached to that FC port.
Problem conclusion
The HBA API code fixed so that only proper devices are considered while finding NumberofDiscoveredPorts and hence there is no error in consulting the ODM and proper count is reported.
