  • An abend may happen during or after a memory migration when
the crypto nest accelerator is active and virtual memory used
by the ACF code attempts to translate a virtual address to a
real address.

the crypto nest accelerator is active and virtual memory used
by the ACF code attempts to translate a virtual address to a
real address.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A hard coded abend is changed to a returned error code;
preventing the system to crash. Error path will recover.
