  • The SANComm driver, which provides node-to-node communications
over FC adapters, may use more memory and bandwidth than
necessary, especially when there are more than 4 nodes in a
cluster, and those nodes have more than one FC adapter each.

necessary, especially when there are more than 4 nodes in a
cluster, and those nodes have more than one FC adapter each.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Optimized algorithms for keeping track of other nodes in the
cluster and for sending packets that update the state of the
cluster to reduce the amount of resources consumed by SANComm.
