APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After NFS server restarts, NFSv4 client may see file not
maintaining lock in a new filehandle.

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • If NFS server uses volatile file handles, the
client may not recover all locks after server
reboot. This does not happen with AIX NFS servers.

Problem conclusion

  • Made code changes to complete the file handle refetch
and lock reclamation.
