Abstract

IBM has introduced a new Support Community to replace the IBM Service Request Tool. IBM MQ software products and offerings were migrated to this new site on July 27, 2019.

This new site allows for:

  • Improved product selection
  • Simplified search
  • Greater visibility into the status of your case

What has happened:

  • Migration occurred the weekend of July 27, 2019.
  • Existing SR IDs were automatically moved to the new Support Community 
  • Existing SRs/PMRs were converted to cases

What to do:

  • Familiarize yourself with the above URL https://www.ibm.com/mysupport/s/ and review the videos below

  • Review any automation or process you have for sending in documentation to IBM
    • PMR Numbers have changed to case numbers in the format TS123456789
    • Use the new runmqras instructions for sending IBM MQ and WebSphere MQ data to a case
    • Use the new sdcp instructions for sending IBM MQ and WebSphere MQ for HPE Integrity NonStop data to a case
