Version "B6AA" drive firmware is available for ST300MP0006 and ST600MP0006 drives. These models are 300GB and 600GB 15krpm enterprise tier drives respectively.
Version "B6C6" drive firmware is available for ST900MP0146 drives. This is a model of 900GB 15krpm enterprise tier drive.
Version "B6C6" drive firmware is available for ST900MP0146 drives. This is a model of 900GB 15krpm enterprise tier drive.
This firmware version prevents a specific situation which can lead to a drive becoming unresponsive and a subsequent failure from the system.
The firmware update is non-disruptive and can be completed concurrently with host I/O.
