Abstract
The V8.1.3.5 PTF contains fixes for a number of high-impact availability issues when using Data Reduction Pools.
Systems running V8.1.2.x or V8.1.3.0-V8.1.3.4 using Data Reduction Pools should be upgraded to V8.1.3.5 or higher as soon as possible.

The V8.1.3.5 PTF contains fixes for a number of issues which can cause loss of access to data in a Data Reduction Pool. Refer to the V8.1.3.5 release note for details of these issues.
IBM recommends that any system on an earlier version of software, using Data Reduction Pools, should be upgraded at the earliest opportunity.
