Abstract

This iFix is specific to the IBM Rational ClearCase Remote Client (CCRC) extension component of the ClearCase 7.1.0.2 offering.

Each patch contains the cumulative fixes of its predecessor. All other patches referenced in this document are obsolete.

Created to fix bug(s):

RATLC00574782: Fixes the problem that once you install the Rational ClearCase Remote Client (CCRC) extension on top of RSA, the Properties view no longer works for elements not under source control.

Prerequisites

Installation Manager Version 1.3.1; Rational ClearCase Remote Client extension component of Rational ClearCase Version 7.1.0.2

Installation Instructions

Refer to technote 1380386 for detailed installation instructions. You must install this update using the Updates Packages wizard in IBM Installation Manager. For information on installing updates, see the topic 'Installing Updates' in the IBM Installation Manager Information Center at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/install/v1r2/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.cic.agent.ui.doc/topics/t_install_updates.html

  • By default, the update is installed from the IBM update repository located on a remote server.

  • It is also possible to download the update and install it locally.


    1. Download the repository from the Download Package table below.


    2. Extract files to a temporary directory. In the IBM Installation Manager, click File > Preferences and add the temporary directory location to the list of repositories.


    3. Use the Update Packages wizard in the Installation Manager to complete the update.
