Problem
Collect Troubleshooting documents aid in problem determination and save time resolving Problem Management Records (PMRs). This document specifies the must gather information for Security Directory Server (SDS, or, Tivoli Directory Server / TDS) problems related to Proxy.
Resolving The Problem
Collect Troubleshooting data for the Proxy server based on Security Directory Server version:
For all versions of ITDS the basic items we need to begin diagnosing any Proxy Server issue are as follows:
- A clear description of your environment, including backend servers, firewalls, etc.
- A description of the behavior currently observed (i.e. is this an initial configuration or an existing environment which has only recently encountered the error, any recent changes made to the environment).
- ITDS and bundled product versions. (see the version specific commands below)
- The proxy server instance's ibmslapd.conf, ibmslapd.log files.
