APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • WVR is expected to be notified that a blind transfer has worked
    or failed by way of a NOTIFY Message , but instead receives a
    BYE message that it fails to process so the call is left hanging
    and application is not informed of the hangup.
    

Local fix

  • Update FSM to handle BYE in this sitauation and inform
    application of hangup
    

Problem summary

  • Call does not hang up properly if a bye is received during
    consultation transfer
    

Problem conclusion

  • Allowed bye to hang up call even if expecting notify
