How do you create an index in Infosphere Data Architect (IDA)?
Answer
To create an index in IDA perform the following:
1. Expand the physical data model
2. Right click on the table you would like to create the index in
3. Click on Add Data Object --> Index
An index will be created under the table of choice. You have the option of changing the index name and altering the properties of the index. To do this click the newly created index and modify accordingly in the Properties tab to the right.
